How to check for Pro plugins updates

    Hello,

    It is Ok for wordpress free plugins, but how to force checking for Pro Plugins updates? Using EDD for example.

    each Pro plugin author provides own mechanism (basically – their own URL) to check for updates, as well as their own mechanism to download them.

    Some do that via helper plugin, some do that some other way, it is not something thats implemented like in www.ads-software.com plugin and theme directories.

    For Third-party plugins and themes that do not update from the www.ads-software.com repository, the update check may not be working. If the plugin or theme does not update via the www.ads-software.com repository, and forcing an update check with this plugin does not work, check with your plugin or theme developer for a force check option.
