    Thanks for the great plugin!

I have a quick question. Is there any back-end UI to check the stats on the tracking of IP addresses, usernames, and passwords being used to try to log into a site?

Also, another big way to help fend off attacks is to change the URL of the login page URL to something other than the WP default URL. I have a separate plugin for this, but it would be great if this feature is added to your plugin.

  • Haz, I’m fairly new at this backend security thing and I only just started using this plugin. Regarding your question about changing the default login url…my recent testing has led me to believe that this method is ineffective. I’ve been using a plugin to rename the login and although the plugin works, I am still seeing heavy Brute Force attacks targeting the original login url…that doesn’t even exist!! Stubborn bot I say.

From everything I have learned so far, I haven’t heard of a PLUGIN based solution to avoid Heavy Server Loads due to Brute Force attacks. Any thoughts Daniel? (dev)
