How to clean up cancelled carts?

The only way a website owner can check the layout of his EDD checkout page is by putting a download in the cart. But if you empty the cart, EDD seems to save it as a “Cancelled Payment” even though a payment has never been initiated for these entries.
These entries do not show up anywhere in the back-end (I created myself as a customer to be able to test), but they show in the front-end Purchase History.
How do I delete this clutter?
