Hi, I no longer require Updraft, and so deactivated and then deleted, without realising that I should have ‘Wiped Settings’ (reference: https://updraftplus.com/frequently-asked-questions/ “Does UpdraftPlus delete all its settings when it is de-installed? (And, how can I?)” ) and also deleted backups BEFORE deleting the plugin.

Now I am left with the plugin folder ‘updraft’ in my content folder (this site has renamed wp-content to just ‘content’). ‘Updraft’ folder contains a folder called emptydir, a .htaccess file, 3 backup zip files, index.html, a log file and a web.config file.

I would like to know if it is safe to delete the folder ‘updraft’ and its contents.
    Thanks
    Nicola

    Hi Nicola,

Yes, it is safe to delete all the content in the ‘updraft’ folder if you no longer need it.

    Regards,
    Bryle
