    Good Day,

How can I clear cache via URL using a Page Subdirectory (not Post ID)?

Reason: Above method is a lot easier, faster that trying to determine or obtain the Post ID.

Once you share the solution, please update your documentation.

    Thank you.

Unfortunately, such a feature is not yet included in our plugin.

    Understood.

Please consider my request a “feature request.”

Can you make it happen? It would be extremely helpful and appreciated by many.

    Thank you.

sorry but I don’t think it will be very useful.

So, how can we obtain the affected Post ID in the frontend without logging into our website?

    you cannot obtain without logging.

    That’s exactly my point.

Your “Clear Cache via URL” using the Post ID requires that we log in or know the Post ID beforehand. Using the Page Subdirectory does not require that.

If you can make it happen, many will benefit – not just our team.

in what situation would you need something like this? is it too difficult to find out the post id?

Your plugin is not 100% reliable. It breaks pages on occasion or does not always cache pages adequately – especially when mobile cache is enabled.

To fix some of our broken or non-cached pages on a speedy basis, we are forced to clear cache on the front end using the Post ID URL method which slows us down since we have to log in to find the affected Post ID.

Clearing cache using the Slug or Subdirectory method will save time and allow us to tell remote customers how to fix their sites (i.e., clear cache of their affected pages).

How difficult is it to implement the request?

I feel you’re resisting the idea more than trying to help.

So you know, our customers use both the free and Pro versions of your plugin. As a Premium customer, should I contact you for an offline solution?

PS: Cloudflare already offers the feature. https://developers.cloudflare.com/cache/how-to/purge-cache/purge_by_prefix/

Now you’re talking about a different problem. if wp fastest cache breaks some pages, we need to investigate and fix the problem. Clearing cache is not a solution.

Respectfully, disagree. Still requesting the feature. That was only an example.

Let’s not deviate from the main request.

Anyway, done with this topic. Too much of a hassle. May request a refund due to below-par support.

    Ciao!

Let’s not deviate from the main goal of the feature.

Clearing cache via url feature has been developed for clearing cache on a regular basis via cronjob, not to clear cache quickly.

I hired a professional (coder) to make this happen. Case closed.
