    Hello

I have updated wordpress 5.0 and got an error when it attempts to update the data bank. The page gets blocked.

According to this issue, clearing the cache would resolve it.

Problem is that whenever I attempt to access the dashboard, it will redirect to the page asking for the databank update.

So I was thinking in clearing the cache directly. How can I do that?
I do have access to the db and the files.

    Thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello,

    Please delete the directory /wp-content/cache/db/

Thanks, I was able to delete that directory but the issue persists.

Anything else, cache-wise, that you can think as causing the issue?

    Hello,

Try to delete entire cache folder, with that dis will clear all the cache.

That did the trick! Thanks a lot.

Will the cache directory/files reconstitute themselves automatically or do I need to do anything for it to get back to working normally?

    Hello,
I am glad that the issue is resolved.
The plugin is not fully tested for wp 5.0. It should all go fine as there were no issues as we were testing.
    The cache will reconstitute automatically.
