Is there any way to delete old click history?

Seems this local storage database could get rather large after a year of clicks. I might only want xx days of history stored.

There is currently no way (apart from editing the database yourself!) to remove click data that is older than you want to see. We’ll add this to our feature request list, thank you.

My database is getting HUGE with all the click information.

Just curious on a possible ETA on having a way to clear data which is xx days old?

I think most people using wordpress are not going to know enough to safely go into their hosting SQL and delete the history.

It would also be nice if it could record the IP address of the click in the detailed history when you click the number count. Right now it shows the date and time only. That would make your module a very useful tool for those working with affiliate programs and wanting to check/verify some of the clickthrough data.

Again, thank you for a wonderful module…and for free! I’m looking forward to the PRO module! (hopefully it will have these features and more?)

The just-released version 0.3.6 includes a setting for data retention – clicks older than this setting will be removed from the database.

We will not be recording visitor IP addresses as that gets into a complex area with regards to data protection and privacy. Track The Click only provides anonymous, aggregated data.
