How to Cloak Pages based on Search/Direct?

I want to deliver different versions of posts based on whether the user comes from search or a direct visit. The search version would go to a brief post with a link to a remote url. The direct version would simply redirect to the remote url.

An example is RealClearPolitics.com. The url on Google shows this page: https://www.realclearpolitics.com/2021/06/10/yet_another_media_tale_collapses_544705.html

Visiting RCP directly redirects to https://greenwald.substack.com/p/yet-another-media-tale-trump-tear.

Is there a way to accomplish this?
