The “no way to close” issue has been reported across Safari, Chrome, and Firefox, so it’s not a browser issue.

Thank you! That github solution would be ideal, because right now the user experience is basically, “You are rewarded for doing something! Now I’m going to take you away from the something you were doing to reward you! YOU HAVE NO CHOICE IN THIS MATTER.”

Yeah. It’s not great, but I’ve been working on 3.0 for an extremely long time, and I had to decide what to put out in the first version. I’m sure I’ve missed things I should have added, and vice-versa.

I kind of like the idea of strongly encouraging people to go check out their achievement profile pages. But forcing them on a path/flow around a site is bad, too.

Unless it turns out I’ve missed anything critical, 3.1 will be released — probably — at the end of Feb/first week of March. That ticket above is going in 3.1.

It is possible to customise the HTML / CSS / JS for the notifications pop-up. I’m literally working on documentation right now. Short term, if you’re capable with HTML / CSS / JS, it should be possible to implement some sort of solution.

Understood. I will say that my community members are immediately in love with Achievements, so your hard work is very much appreciated! ??
