How to communicate with other admins inside the site?

  • I want to be able to communicate with them with a chat-like communication system inside the admin panel.

    How do you guys communicate with your team? I don’t want to email them over and over again, I would like to have a group chat with them all at once.

  • Probably the most simple way I know of would be to setup the P2 theme on a subdomain.

    I don’t know of any plugins that add chat functionality to a WP site. With P2 you could lock it down so that only certain people would have access to it.

    Or just use an outside system like Skype or other instant messengers.

    I found this plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/admin-msg-board/ It is quite old and hasn’t been updated for a while, so I don’t know whether it works or not, or will give the functionality you require. You be able to find other similar plugins by searching likely keywords on the plugins directory
