How to completely uninstall

  • After installing I didn’t get any results in my search, and realized that this plugin isn’t for me.

    I usually build everything from scratch and only wanted the ability to include tags and categories as relevance for the posts.

    Anyway. When I uninstall the plugin, I still don’t get any results in my search. It was working perfectly fine before installing the plugin.

    Is there a way to completely uninstall the plugin and restore tables or whatnot to how it was before installation?

    If you have deactivated the plugin then it’s enough. If you delete it via the Plugins page then it removes the full text indexes as well which are used for searching.

    If you’re still not seeing results it could be a different issue with the site. I’d suggest using Query Monitor to see what could be causing an issue with the queries.
