How to configure AddThis for WordPress?

    • I have used wordpress and addthis and placed some social sharing buttons on my site
    • But for some reasons I deleted and again created an account with adddthis with the same email
    • But when try to access the tools page, it is redirecting me to Choose a platform: website or wordpress
    • ok never bother, but when I have selected wordpress and clicked ‘next’ button, it is redirecting me to download addthis page on www.ads-software.com page But I have already downloaded and installed on wordpress
    • Now I have a question “How to configure tools for addthis for my wordpress website??”

    I had the same issue. Here’s what worked for me:

    1) Go to your profile in the AddThis Dashboard, click on Profiles, and copy your Profile ID number
    2) Go to AddThis in your WordPress dashboard settings, click Edit Profile Settings, and paste the number under “AddThis Profile ID”

    Then it finally redirected me to the configuration panel.
