How to configure the theme after installation?

Hi ananddevops,

1. Webriti companion plugin extend all the feature of spasalon theme like Slider, Project,etc.
2. You are following spasalon pro theme documentation.

For setup spasalon free theme.
1. If you start with fresh WordPress then when you activate webriti companion plugin add setting and set your home page automatically.
2. But if you did not want to start from fresh WordPress package and continue from here. Delete your current home page and create a new Home page then set this Business template. Now set this home page as your static front page. Please don’t forget to activate webriti companion plugin.

@abhipathak Thanks for the suggestions. Request you to provide additional info wrt your replies as mentioned below:

1. Can you share the documentation link for free version of SpaSalon?
2. I am starting from a fresh WP. I just changed the default theme from Twenty Seventeen to SpaSalon and then activated the Webriti Companion plugin. The first screenshot shared earlier is after that setup.
3. I don’t see a Webriti Companion plugin settings page in the Dashboard, how am I supposed to set the home page?

Sorry for the inconvenience.
1. Currently we did not have free version documentations.
2. Its really strange. Follow the give instruction to setup spasalon theme.
2.1 Install a fresh WordPress.
2.2 Install and activate latest spasalon theme. Then click on Big blue button Get started with spasalon. Hove a look in screen shot https://prntscr.com/m25b2b
2.3 Go to abut spasalon theme page and click on go to the customizer button . Have a look in screen shot https://prntscr.com/m25ctl
2.4 Now you are in your WordPress customizer and you will recommended plugin box and a button to install and activate plugin. Click on this button. Have a look in screens hot https://prntscr.com/m25dgc
3. Wait for the moment now you will see your complete site. Have a look screen shot https://prntscr.com/m25ea6

4. Click on pencil icon to edit your content.

You created two home page and did not set right home page as static front page. Please set static home page that have page have business template https://www.ayurvidya.online/home/

1. The first Home Page is default created when I first setup WordPress with default Theme – Twenty Seventeen
2. As for setting the SpaSalon Home page as static, thats what I had done in the first place. But you said its not required.
3. That still leaves the Menu item and Page – Sample Page. I had provided a solution for that. What are your recommended suggestion.

Besides the question remains WHY isn’t the installation working smoothly even after the requsite steps. The above are just workarounds.

This is so easy i think there is some misunderstanding. OK don’t worry we with try with fress wp follow this link to reset your wp db https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-reset-your-wordpress-database-to-default-settings/ .

Note: Please don’t forget to take back up of your site.

Now install Spasalon theme and then webriti companion plugin we are sure now you will get your site ready with all setting and home page.

Yes your WordPress all settings reset. If you work already on many settings then please don’t reset your WordPress. and just set your home page as static home page

Thanks for the info.

I have had a second look at the FREE SpaSalon theme and it is very very limited. It is simply a one page placeholder, with no menu, no other pages, no documentation etc etc.

I will pass for now.
