How to confirm email address and build a mailing list

Hello I have had my blog up and running for about a year now here is a link https://michaelharringtondesigns.com/blog/

I need to confirm people’s email address after they comment, I also need to add a page so that when a visitor adds a comment they see a thank you page has anyone got any ideas or knows a plugin I could use.

I have enabled this plugin

Which sounds great but unfortunately does solve the two problem I have above.
