Go to All in One SEO, General Settings, Title Settings and remove the following text from the Title Format fields of the page types where you don’t want the site title to appear:

    | %blog_title%

Yeah, tried that long before. So I thought I would try it again.

Attempt #1 — In All in One SEO > General Settings > Title Settings (section)
Home Page Title Format, Page Title Format, and Post Title Format textboxes were blank but I made sure again that they were blank and then clicked the Update Options button

My WP Page has its own title set in the All in One SEO Pack > Main Settings > Title box.

    No Success

Attempt #2 — In All in One SEO > General Settings > Title Settings (section)
I disabled Rewrite Titles and then clicked the Update Options button

My WP Page has its own title set in the All in One SEO Pack > Main Settings > Title box.

    Still No Success

The page’s title tag in the <head> block still shows Page Name | SEO Title

I just want it to be the SEO Title

Let me know if your plugin is not capabile of doing this.

Those fields should not be blank. If they are blank then All in One SEO Pack will not output a title at all.

Do not disable Rewrite Titles, if you do then All in One SEO Pack will not output a title at all.

Thanks @wpsmort — I see a bit clearer as to how it interacts. It worked.

Now, how do I get AI1SEO to just use the:

WP Page title that is set in the All in One SEO Pack > Main Settings > Title box

rather than what is set in:

All in One SEO > General Settings > Title Settings (section) -- Home Page Title Format, Page Title Format, and Post Title Format textboxes?

There is no All in One SEO Pack > Main Settings > Title box. This does not exist in our plugin.

You can either set the Home Page Title by going to All in One SEO, General Settings, Home Page Settings, Home Title (https://semperplugins.com/documentation/home-page-settings/) or you can enable the Use Static Front Page Instead option and set it in the All in One SEO Pack section on your Home page.

That’s your News page, not your home page. You set the title for that page on that page exactly where your screenshot shows. The format of this title is controlled under All in One SEO, General Settings, Title Settings, Page Title Format (https://semperplugins.com/documentation/title-settings/#title-format-fields). By default this field will look like this –

    %page_title% | %blog_title%

If you don’t want ” | Beyond Biocentrism” to appear in the title then change that field to this –

    %page_title%

Correct, it is one of my inner pages. I was still struggling with the SEO Title format on the home page and the inner pages. My intention was to always let the page itself control the SEO title (a shown in the screen shot) and not have it done centrally.

But my (logical) thought process is contrary to the way the plugin actually works. Were good to go though. Thanks for your help.
