Prompted by an email advertisement from Woo, we are happy to use “separate” plugins, one for shipping and one for tax. (and we don’t use Jetpack, happy to delete unused). So we are trying to migrate from WC Shipping & Tax plugin to: (1) WC Shipping plugin ; (2) WC Tax plugin.

I downloaded and installed (1) and (2). The WC Shipping plugin (1) activated OK. But the WC Tax plugin (2) is not in my list of plugins.

Is the “WC Tax” plugin the same as the “WC Shipping & Tax” plugin? Will the “WC Shipping” plugin work correctly with the “WC Shipping and Tax” plugin?

  • Hey @drjx ,

I believe that this is expected behavior. Checking the WooCommerce Tax plugin file, it looks like the plugin name is still “WooCommerce Shipping & Tax”, which would explain why it is being listed like this on the Dashboard > Plugins page:

Also, checking the change log, it seems that Parallel compatibility with WooCommerce Shipping plugin was added:

So these should work without conflicting with each other. ??

    Hope this helps!
