How to convert the free plugin to pro version

    Hello there,

    We have already been using the free version of Wp GotoWebinar plugin. Now we would like to activate the pro version. To do this, we have already purchased the pro version of Wp GotoWebinar plugin. But how to convert the free version to pro version.

    Please find the other details below:
    PHP Version: 7.0.15-0ubuntu0.16.04.4
    Wordpress Version: 4.8
    Plugin Version: 9.2
    Current Theme: Betheme
    Active Plugins:

    Hi @hurmath,

    When you purchase the pro version you should receive a download link. You need to then uninstall and delete the free version of the plugin and then install the pro version of the plugin which you will get from this download link. Any settings you have in the free version of the plugin will remain when you install the pro version. Thanks,

    I should also mention updates to the pro versions should be done manually. You shouldn’t update the pro version of the plugin via the WordPress repository as otherwise it will over-ride the pro version of the plugin with the free version of the plugin. Thanks,

    Thank you for the quick response. I have another question.

    Should I still add Authorization and organizer key? Because I want to create webinars using the wordpress site itself.

    Hi @hurmath,

    I am a little confused by your question. But essentially you always need to get the authorisation and organizer key. The plugin doesn’t work without it. Thanks,

    I want to create webinars directly from the wordpress without having to log in to the gotowebinar portal everytime I want to create a new webinar.

    Once I add the authorization key and organiser key, I need not log into the separate website to create new webinars right?
