How to creat listing by category as different block ？

Hi, there:

I want to create different parts on my homepage index page.

And different parts will show its category , only show title,date,feature image(if have)

how can I do this?

Now I use latest posts blocks, but this item cannot show feature image.

Can anyone help me?
