How to create a Board of Directors page

  • Hello,

    I am trying to create a Board of Directors page. For each member, I need:

    – Name and title (hyperlinked to individual’s email)
    – Thumbnail headshot

    I can’t seem to figure out how to do this in a way that looks attractive. I am using Elegant Themes, but their Portfolio and Gallery page templates don’t really fit the bill for what I’m trying to do. (Not that I can figure out, anyway.)

    Please help!

  • If your problem is down to styling the layout of the ‘page’ then you will likely need to hire someone to create a custom page layout for you or try another theme that does have a page that can be used for staff/team etc.

    Hi! Actually, this was an incredibly easy fix — it just took me forever to figure out. I uploaded my photos to a Gallery in the Media section. Then in the caption of each photo I created an email link for the name and title, which sit right below the headshot. It works great, and was exactly what I wanted — no professional needed.
