    Hi,

I’d like to create categories that are clickable to show a dropdown of subcategories, but that when I click on the main category itself that only shows the dropdown, that doesn’t take me to a page. I want to do this for the mobile version menu, since with a phone I can’t actually hover to open the category, I have to actually press that button and when pressing that category(with a plus button +) I want it to display subcategories.
I couldn’t find this information anywhere. Help appreciated. ??

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello @selengs ,

I have checked your site (https://blitzfab.de/) with mobile device and it seems the main menu item is clickable. It also taking to page after the click.

Am I missing your point? If yes, please send me more details with screenshot to understand it clearly.

    Hi Benjir,

thanks for your reply. Yes, I mentioned: “that only shows the dropdown, that doesn’t take me to a page.”
I mean, when I press on the category, I only want the whole line to open a drop down menu, I don’t want it to open a page. Right now there’s a down arrow next to the category name, I actually want the whole name and line to open that drop down submenu. I won’t lose this page because I’ll separate it within the category. I just don’t want people to press the category trying to open it and that they are directed to the page, I want to instead make this “general page” an option within the drop down.
I hope it makes sense what I’m saying, thanks.

    Hi @selengs

Sorry for the delayed response. I can understand what you are looking for. You need to disable the Submenu Click Area option that will prevent your user to get redirected to the linked page. Please follow this screenshot and hopefully it will help you to solve your problem.
