How to create a Donate button with WPGive Free and Divi

I am using GiveWP free and the Divi theme. I would like to place a “Donate Now” button on my site, where the button click event opens the donation form. I have tried to use the form’s short code in the Divi button module, but doesnt work (a blank page comes up: about:blank#blocked). The Divi button module has a spot where you can enter a link. I have entered https://proto.afhs.ab.ca/donate. This links me to the donation form.

Is it really just that simple? I feel like I should be using shortcodes instead of URL links.
