How to create a dynamic sidebar

I have a site that I just built using the Imprezz theme. There is a white sidebar space on the right side of the page that I wanted to use for an amazon carousel widget. I think it is already set up as a sidebar since I see it looking through the style sheet, but don’t think it is dynamic because it doesn’t show up on the dashboard for me to add widgets.

Can anyone help me with this, I’m sure it is an easy fix, but I am new to site building. Have been able to figure out a lot so far though.
