    Hi there

I am creating an Intra network for a number of clients.
The way it works is I have one main client, let’s call it “wickeddesign”
Now “wickeddesign” has 31 clients and each of these clients need their own profile with a login.
I have created this setup by putting a link on wickeddesign’s homepage which links to a wordpress installation where all the respective client’s logos are displayed.
When a client clicks on their logo it links to another installation inside the master installation ie:
https://www.wickeddesign.net/profiles/nike where the client is prompted to log in.

The different clients should only be able to download their design’s not upload, and they should be able to do this in jpg, pdf, bmp, word, etc.

the master client “wickeddesign” should be able to upload the respective client’s files easily whereby it would then appear on the frontend of the client’s profile page.

Are there any plugins, widget’s that can be used to accomplish this
or a way that can be suggested to do this even if the master client has to use ftp and upload the file to a specific directory.

Plugins I have used to get this far in my project are:

    Peter’s Login Redirect
    Version 1.7.1 | By Peter

    Role Manager
Role Management for WordPress 2.0.x, up to 2.6.x..
Version 2.2.3 | By Thomas Schneider -I might experience some problems with this as I am using wordpress 2.8.5

Any help will be much appreciated.

    Thanks

  • The simplest solution would be to create a post for each client and give it a password. Wicketdesign then uploads images and files “into” these posts and inserts them as links. Maybe create a “clients” category.
Then instead of the client logos use the client names – just list all posts in the “clients” category.

If it’s for downloading only, this should be enough.

    Hi Mores

Thanks for the tip, that would work just fine.
The client needs to upload files as well though so what I did was create multiple installations of word press inside the main wordpress installation and set up passwords for each client so only they can log in. Then I used download manager plugin so now they can upload and download files just fine.
The site is still under construction, but you can see what I mean if you have a look @ the site??
