How to create a jquery slider like in the following example with custom fields

Hi guys,

I’m trying to add a facility to my sidebar which lets users filter products (posts) by their custom field value of ‘price’.

On the Jquery website i have found an example of what i’m trying to achieve. You can see the code here… jqueryui.com/slider/#range

I’m very new to jquery so don’t really understand what i need to do in order to make this work.

Can anyone help explain this a little better and perhaps tweak the code accordingly so it works in relation to my situation involving the custom fields.
