• Hello, I am looking to have a function on my site in which visitors can click products that save to a list that can be emailed to me.

Essentially I am replacing a “Cart” with a list of items. Ideally the customer would browse my site and click on products they can “Add to List”. They would then be able to see what is in their list and email me these items. Second, I will also have them upload files (DXF’s / DWG’s / JPEG / PDFs) that would also be added to this master list that gets emailed to me.

In theory I could create an ecommerce site and have all products set to $0 but I imagine there is a way to achieve my goal that doesn’t involve this solution.

    Thanks for the help!

It seems like this could be done with many forms plugins.

Hey Steven, that was my inclination. Do you happen to know of any in particular?

Lastly, each “product” will have a dropdown menu with variations that I need to add to this list. Essentially it would be an image of an item then underneath I would have different options for that item that the customer can select and add to this master list. I know we are getting into the weeds here but do you have suggestions for this application as well?

    Thanks for the help.

I’d use Formidable because (1) it’s really great and (2) I have a license for the pro version. You can also use Formidable to display a user’s prior responses, if you require them to login first.
