Being a beginner someone could tell me how to create a user-side page containing all downloads with related categories and sub-categories?
    Thank you all

  • Hi @fabgan,

I’m not 100% sure how you envision the “with related categories and sub-categories” part of the display, but you can easily display downloads using the [downloads] shortcode described here: https://docs.easydigitaldownloads.com/article/224-downloads

That’s going to display all of your downloads, regardless of category. But you can use the shortcode’s attributes to specify which categories to show.

Please have a look at that documentation. If there’s a more specific type of display you’re thinking about, just let me know and I may be able to point you in the right direction.

    Thank you.
Already with this shortcode you can make a page containing various downloads and certainly with more advanced settings you can do better.
Despite everything I feel that Easy Digital Downloads is not for me and I’m thinking of adopting some other solution to better manage my downloads.
The fact that Easy Digital Downloads is already set by default as if the files to be downloaded should be sold I do not really like it.
    Anyway, thanks again.
