    Dear Users,

What I’m trying to accomplish is I”m trying to create a page (lets’ say) index.php…but in this index.php it doesn’t have any attributes to a wordpress template, it is a black background page; however, in this page it lists:

The Authors (#1 – #6) in a given order, showing the author’s avatar and recent post title (these will be linked, if clicked it will to given catagory) > And, right next to it, an illustration which if clicked will go to the main website (the wordpress).

    Then, on the bottom…

It shows, the most popular posts and most comment post.

Now, I understand there are plugins to do all these functions; however, my question is: Can I create the above stated without it actually being a part of wordpress pages? If so, how?

    Thank You..

    Snafuworks

P.S. Think of the index.php as the front page and wordpress as index2.php… catch my drift?

    Thanks
