How to create a part number search box

So I want to create a search box that is going to be specific for product part numbers.

I would need to feed data to the search box with a few hundreds, or thousands of part numbers. Once a part number is selected it would show a description of it and the ability for the user to send a quote with quantities needed.

Is there a way to do that?
