How to Create a Template for a Bio page with picture?

I’m in the process of creating a website for my cycling team at:

I want to have a roster page, which maybe has a thumbnail pic of each member, which, in turn links to a detail page for each. I want each detail page to look the same, with a picture of the same size centered, and then headings down the page (yrs with team, results, bikes, etc). There are probably about 50 people I need to do this with, so having a template would make sense, so I’m assuming a separate page.php for the thumbnail page and then the detail page. Is that correct?

Questions I have:

1) How to create the thumbnail page, so that all the images are the same size, and is easy to administer (adding or subtracting members).

2) How to create the detail page template, so that the member pics are the same size on each page and each blank page has the headings so that the info can just be plugged in.

Any guidance in the right direction on this would be great.
