How To Create an Affiliate Page for My Affiliates?

  • Hello there,

    I have an online business, and I want to make an Intro Page for my affiliates. It is structured like this: https://www.JUST-AN-EXAMPLE.net/?s1=LorraineP

    And all anyone has to do is change out their user name/affiliate name at the end. (mine is LorraineP), and they’d have a couple of buttons that lead to the persons affiliate site, once they change the username to theirs.

    I know a little about web design, but I cannot figure out how to create this type of functionality for a WP website.

    If you could possible lead me to the terms I even need to search for, that would be appreciated.

  • If you are new to this then I wouldn’t try to do it yourself from scratch.

    Do a search for wordpress affiliate program plugins and find one that will work for what you are trying to accomplish.

    Hello Loridori4, I believe you’re looking for a redirection script. This would allow someone to ome to your page with the name at the end, as you have it, and be redirected to that persons affiliate site.

    yes, I’ve gotten some feedback from some web design friends that what I’m looking for is a query string…and it needs PHP or ASP language added to the html frame.

    So…I’m designing the splash page, and hiring out the other part! LoL
