How to create custom categories

Hi,

Im trying to find out how I can create my own categories associated to a certain plugin…

I have purchased a plugin DV-Team… and you can create staff members, and also create categories so you can later attribute a staff member to a certain category… My issue is I need to add 2 more other category types… so I can better filter down stuff on the front page…
