How to create disclaimer popup when visitor clicks external link

    I need to create a disclaimer pop-up that will appear whenever a visitor clicks on an external link on our site.

    The disclaimer would contain some sort of legalese like “You are now leaving xxxxxxxxx to go to an external website. This website is not endorsed by xxxxx.”

    The pop-up would also need to contain two buttons:
    – “OK” – which would allow them to continue to the external site
    – “Cancel” – which would bring them back to our page

    @amargolis – We have an extension that does exactly this, but it hasn’t been officially released. I can look into getting it published soon if your interested. Otherwise it will require custom Javascript and popup content but nothing to complicated.
