How to create real estate listing with Directorist

Thank you for contacting us. Directorist is a business listing plugin. You can use this plugin to build a website to display products, but it does not have an e-commerce feature; so you cannot buy or sell products using it.

If you want to have the search options you explained, it is possible to achieve this. But, it will require some custom development. We do not have this feature by default.

1. Adding Contact Options to Listings:
   (a) Contact the Person Listing the Product/Service: You can add a contact option to each listing using the preset “Contact Owner” field. Additionally, the “Contact Listing Owner” widget is available for displaying this option in the right sidebar. This will allow users to directly reach out to the lister via email.
   (b) Contact the Admin Only: By default, Directorist sends contact emails to the author or listing email, with a copy to the admin. If you want all inquiries to go directly to the admin only, custom development can achieve this.
   (c) WhatsApp Contact: You can add a WhatsApp contact to each listing by using the default phone field in Directorist. Simply enter the WhatsApp number in the phone field for each listing. Here is a screenshot for your reference: screenshot link.
2. Adding Price to Listings: Directorist includes a built-in pricing field for adding pricing information to individual listings. You can set a numeric price or a price range using this field.
3. Creating a Classified Website: Yes, Directorist is suitable for creating a classified website. You can list various categories of products or services, including real estate, as you mentioned. The plugin offers a flexible structure for organizing listings by categories, tags, and other attributes. For a more tailored classified experience, you might consider using our dClassified theme, which complements Directorist and enhances its core features.

What to do to add a clickable text?

Example, to add texts, for example ( Click Here ) and make it clickable so that when a user clicks on the text or texts, the user is taken to a page or post or another website.

To add a clickable text, like “Click Here,” you can use the URL field available in the builder. This allows you to link the text to a specific page, post, or even an external website. 2. Adding Icons to Buttons: You can add icons to your buttons using HTML/CSS or by utilizing icon libraries like Font Awesome. This can be done within the button’s HTML code.
3. Chat Box Integration: You can easily integrate a chat box like “START YOUR CHAT” using the Directorist Live Chat plugin or HelpGent, both of which are excellent solutions for adding chat functionality to your listings.
