    Hi all,

I spent many hours over the past week, trying to create 3 columns boxes on my homepage WITHOUT USING BLOCKS. I don’t like the extra bloating of code Blocks create.

What you see on my page is what I want (using tables), BUT on mobile it does not stack vertically but bleeds off the screen.

I tried various themes, ultimate shortcodes, Site Origin page builder, and various methods (slider) but it seems impossible, and I could not find a plugin to do that. It seems so basic, yet I’m stomped.

No matter which theme I use – HOW can I create this type of content?

On your demo (site is down right now), I see 3 content boxes under the hero image. How?

    Thank you in advance,

    Andre

I decided to use a different theme. I’m looking for simplicity. Ashe is great but way too complex and detailed for me. I get lost in the abundance of settings.

    Regards,

    Andre

Well, I decided to give it another shot. I still want to create the 3 boxes under the header or lower. Is this why I should import the content? I find it gets complicated having to track everything to edit and replace content. But if that’s the way?

    Hi Andre,

At first, thank you for choosing our theme and service.

Can you please describe in more detail what you mean by “I can’t find how to add the boxes found on the demo” if you mean featured links, please navigate to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Featured Links and make sure to upload the image to make them visible first, then you can add your own custom titles and links to them.
If we misunderstood your questions, please show us a screenshot from the demo site of which boxes you mentioned and we will explain how to enable them.

    Kind Regards

Hi Thank you, you can see how I solved my need by using a carousel. But that’s not ideal.

Another issue is the social media links. Is that a widget? If so, could I not move my (purple) button on top? I don’t see any widget for this area.

This: ? “Want this website to be yours?”

    Thanks!

    Hi @styzer

Social media links are not widgets if you are using theme provided ones. Social media links can be managed via Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Social Media.
If the URL field has a value Social media links will appear on the website, if the URL field is empty they dont.
    Kind Regards
