How to create this sort of article using wordpress?

  • Hi folks,

    I have a small fashion blog and was looking at some of the larger fashion sites for a bit of inspiration and creative ideas. I like the way net a porter and my-wardrobe use a magazine style layout for an article. e.g

    Does anyone know how you could recreate something similar using a wordpress post?

    Obviously the easiest way would be to make the whole thing as an image and then paste it into a post but this will do nothing for my sites seo as the text would be ignored. Is there a way to design this sort of thing in a wordpress post and if so how?

  • I think the most common way of doing this is to use a magazine-style template for a page to pull in a set of posts and display them.

    If you can find a theme you like that offers such a template, that is an easy way to go. I believe the Suffusion theme has this.
