How to customise registration form?

    I saw in your plugin information say that we can “add custom input fields under registration forms and validated data and save under user meta field.” However, I have not found how to do this in the plugin. Where can we edit the custom input fields for the registration form?

    We have a helpful guide that shows you how to add custom input fields to your registration form.     Thank you for your reply. I am aware of the documentation you linked, however as a non-web development technical person, I don’t understand what I have to do. Can you provide some more information?

    To assist you best, could you tell me a bit more about what you’d like to achieve with the custom field? Knowing the purpose will help me suggest the best setup. Additionally, if you have a name in mind for the field label, that would be helpful too!

    It seems that there is no way to make changes to the field via a human readable settings page so I think no matter what I had in mind, it won’t be doable without editing the code.

    What I had in mind for the registration field was to firstly have the form for employers to register. The registration fields would be for the company information, such as company name (as well as the name of the person who is registering since a company might have different departments, like the head of accounting or head of marketing). Other fields I had in mind are what the registrant role is (eg head of accounting or head of marketing) and other varied fields.

    Another thing is, my form has two drop down options for the registrant to choose from: an employer/job poster and an applicant or job seeker. I would like to have this option disappear and people can only register as an employer – I have no need for applicants since I am making jobs posted viewable to everyone, logged in or not, and you don’t have to log in to apply.

    But, can you confirm whether changing the field requires editing the code as opposed to a human readable section in the settings? Because if that is the case, I won’t be able to use this plugin and this support ticket can be closed without further taking up anyone else’s time.
