do you mean merely changing the icon, or changing _some_ of the icons?

likely add the following to the custom.css file:

#sidebar .sem_tile_links ul,
#sidebar_ext .sem_tile_links ul
{
list-style-image: url(youricon.gif);
}

you’ll want to place youricon.gif in the same directory as the custom.css file.
