How to Customize Password Protected Posts

  • I love the password posts on my site, but how do you edit the text that shows up on your blog when you make a password protected post? I’ve tried looking through the code, but no luck! Any help?

    I’m looking specifically to change what it says on the post when comments are disabled in password protected posts….

    template-functions-post.php has the text to alter how a pw-protected post is displayed. (At the top, it’s the first function listed)
    template-functions-comment.php has the ‘Comments Off’ text.
    5th function listed.
    Both those files in ‘wp-includes’
    Applies to 1.2 mingus

    how to tweak what it says in place of the comments on the actual post, not the comments section?
