How to customize redirect after add to cart?

Hi.

I am trying to add a page which is a cross sell offer inbetween clicking add to cart and going to the checkout.
itll go like this..
Product page (clicks add to cart)
goes to cross sell page (clicks add to order or no thanks)
skips the cart and goes straight to the checkout page.

I have tried countless plugins but none of them work. Most add a redirect URL section on the product page but after clicking it, it remains on the same page and shows a ‘view cart” link under the add to cart text.

Ive also tried plugins that allow you to add a custom URL to the woocommerce settings but it is a global redirect. I need to change the custom redirect for each type of product so it works like this.

Adds product A to cart. Cross sell is product B but $20 off
or
Adds product B to cart. Cross sell is product A but $20 off.

Any suggestions or plugins that are proven to work?
