Hello, I installed woocommerce with a proper theme.
Now I have a nice home page but I can’t customize it because when I click on custom page there is nothing inside.
It’s always like this every time I install woo, I never find how to customize this page and I give up.

    Thank you

    Hi @gwenm ,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you would like guidance on how to edit your Homepage, is this correct?

Generally, the Homepage can be edited by navigating to Dashboard > Pages, and clicking “Edit” on the specific page, as seen here:

Once in the page editor, you can add/edit blocks to design your Homepage (in my case, the Shop page is my home page).

Additionally, changes can also be made (such as what to display on the shop page i.e subcategories, categories, both etc.) by navigating to Dashboard >Appearance > Customize> WooCommerce Settings, as seen below:

Additionally, here is a great guide on how to edit the Shop page.

If you would like further help, please could you share the following as I would like to get a better understanding of your current site setup in order to guide you accurately on editing your homepage?

    • System Status Report – which you can find via?WooCommerce?→?Status. Select?Get system report?and then?Copy for support.
    • A screenshot of the full page when navigating to Dashboard > Pages.
    • A screenshot of what you are seeing on your end when trying to edit the homepage.

Snipboard.io?can be used for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on that page, then paste the URL in this thread.

    Cheers!

Hello, thank you for your feedback.
I know wordpress well and I know how to use it and that’s why I contacted you. If I clicked on edit the page was blank in the backend while it was full in the frontend.
This has happened several times with different sites and different themes.
Now I’m using a purchased theme that uses elementor and this time I can customize as I want ??

I’ll make you a capture the next time it happens.
    Thanks again for your support

    Best
