How to deal with 2 min difference between London time zone and Leicester city’s

    I want to know if there is a way to deal with the time difference between a city and the timezone, e.x WordPress has general timezones and not specific to cities so in Time remaining till next iqamah I have a 2 minute time difference as the masjid prayer times are calculated for Leicester city.

    It is not a critical issue but it might confuse Muslims using the website https://peacecentre.uk

    Assalamualaikum bro,

    I am not sure how it timezone an issue. since this plugin works with the data you set.

    are you using automatic timetable system or manual upload?

    Assalam Alaykum,

    As I said it’s not a big issue but for example, the time would be 10:00 in London but in Leicester, it would be 10:02 and the prayer time would be at 10:30 so the “Time remaining for next Iqamah” would be 30min instead of 28min.
    I was just wondering if there is a setting that corrects the offset in the plugin. we upload manual times.

    Does this mean you are getting your prayer times from London and uploading those manually? Doesn’t your local mosque in Leicester print its own timetable?

    Assalam Alaykom, It was a timeZone issue, changed it and all is correct. jzk
