how to delete a blog to import another one?

  • I am moving from wp.com to a self-host.

    Some days ago I imported my blog from wp.com to my self-host (inmotion).

    Now I am setting everything up to get on line with the new host: installing plugin, theme, ensuring everything runs fine, and so on.

    In the meantime, people keep adding content to the wp.com blog, so I have to re-import all contents right before going on line with the new self-hosted blog.

    My questione is: how do I delete everything (contents) at my new wp instance, letting everything configured? I guess I would have to delete lines into the database and the media content, but I wonder if there is something more detailed to do so or a even a plugin…

    Any hint or advice would be really appreciated.
