    Hello team,

Some time ago, I used this plugin on my website. I changed the wp_admin path to a different one (I don’t remember it). Then, I uninstalled the plugin and didn’t use it again for many months.

Now I have a problem. I want to use the plugin again, but when I install it, the old configuration is automatically activated and I don’t remember what the path is (wp-admin). So when I install it, my page becomes inaccessible.

How can I solve it? How can I delete the configuration of this plugin from the DB?

    Thanks

Hi, please try the following documentation how-to-reset-aiowps-plugin. Let me know if this helps you.

    Thank you

    Thanks you very much ??

@mbrsolution that was a life saver. I had to delete a previous installation of WP after the site got hacked. The new installation logged me out of WP admin as soon as i activated AIOWPS plugin – IP blocked msg displayed. Your reset solution made me log back in and reset/keep the plugin.

My only concern being the site got hacked even though i had installed the plugin. FYI I had activated only the basic features back then. Am not a very technical person so decided not to fiddle with the intermediate/advance options. Am still gonna hold on to the plugin, but if there is any link for
recommended settings, it would be of great help. Thanks!

    Hi @audentifier07,

Am still gonna hold on to the plugin, but if there is any link for
recommended settings, it would be of great help. Thanks!

First of all, go to Tools in your admin site and run a Site Health check. This will let you know if there are any issues with your WordPress installation.

Second, go to WP Security -> Dashboard and check to make sure all Critical Feature Status are turned on.

Third, enable Login Lockdown under User Login.

Fourth, under Firewall -> 6G Blacklist Firewall Rules tab enable Enable 6G Firewall Protection.

Fifth, go to Brute Force -> Rename Login Page tab and enable Rename Login Page Feature.

Sixth, I always like to enable this feature because it blocks access via the backend. Go to Firewall -> Basic Firewall Rules -> WordPress XMLRPC & Pingback Vulnerability Protection and choose the one that best suits your needs.

The above should keep your site protected. However always make sure your WordPress, plugins and theme are up to date.

Let me know if the above helps you.

    Kind regards

Thanks again. Am continuing to use the plugin on the fresh installation.
