    Thanks for reaching out @paulomathe. Having two versions of the same file can indeed take up additional file system resources. You can stop this from occurring by visiting your media settings (Settings > Media) and deselecting the “Generate JPEG files in addition to WebP” option. This will ensure only a WebP version of each image generated when uploading a JPEG file.

    I have created some custom sizes and the jpeg version is always uploaded to the folder, even when the options is turned off.

    Hi @juliangk,

    The original jpeg of any image will be uploaded alongside a WebP version of the image. The scrset images will be WebP.
