• Hi

    I recently set up a new wordpress blog for a friend but when I wrote a page, named it ‘home’, and set it to static so it shows as the first page instead of the most recent post it changed the menu bar at the top of the page.

    Now the menu bar at the top has two links to ‘home’. I have looked through the backend but can’t find anywhere to delete the surplus link

    Thanks for any help in advance that people can offer

  • Most likely located in header.php in the directory for that theme.

    It is the candles2 template I am using with an e-commerce widget installed, the top menu now says

    * Home * About * Checkout * Home * Products Page * Transaction Results * Your Account

    Note the two links for home, at the beginning and in the middle
