How to delete the Amazon S3 Backup settings

    Hi there,

    I have a problem:

    I set up a FTP and Amazon S3 Backup for my site, but I can’t find the backups for a certain day, like 10/20, the Existing Backups says the Backups for Database, Plugins, Themes, Uploads and Others are there, which are downloadable, but I couldn’t find the location of these backups. I only set up Amazon S3 and FTP, and I couldn’t find the Backups in neither Amazon S3 LOCATION nor FTP FOLDERS!!

    I tested the FTP logins, the messages says it’s FAILURE. But the backups for 10/20 are downloadable, I couldn’t find the location from the BACKUP LOGS…..

    So where are my backups?

    I wanted to delete the settings for Amazon S3, but I GOT an error message:

    You have requested saving to remote storage (Amazon S3), but without entering any settings for that storage.

    So I couldn’t delete the settings of backuping to Amazon S3….

    Hi,

    Can you check your “wp-content/updraft” folder if it is there?
    If none, can you send me a copy of the backup log so I can check?

    Yeah.. I found it in the folder you mentioned.

    So what’s wrong? And how can I set it up to the FTP that I set up?

    And also, how can I remove the settings of backing up to Amazon S3? It keeps giving me error about empty input for Amazon S3.

    For removing Amazon s3 backup settings, please go to Admin Dashboard > Settings (main menu) > UpdraftPlus (submenu) > Settings (tab) > Press on the Amazon S3 remote storage and you will see enable checkbox and deletion remote method as shown in the screenshot https://nimb.ws/ZWM7AJ. Please might right button press on the “Delete these settings” link to delete the Amazon S3 remote storage.

    Hi Simon,

    It looks like the JavaScript error occurring on the setting page.

    Please could you try opening your browser’s developer console (instructions here) and reload the UpdraftPlus settings page?

    Do you see any errors or warnings in the console? If so, please could you send us a copy of those messages?
