How to Delete theme and all its content

  • So I am new to WP. Downloaded a theme called Eight Degree. Tried messing with it deleted a bunch of content manually and I am trying to start from scratch again. Every time I try to delete from FTP client OR when I delete plugins/pages/theme manually and then I try to re upload (import) the demo content it gives me a message that the stuff already exists!

    How do I redo everything and start from scratch

    Please advise

  • Hello AlexVoz,

    when you delete a theme or plugin over the installer in your WP Dashboard, the settings should be deleted, but not the content itself.

    You can delete your sample content manually and then empty the trash! Even if the trash is empty, you can import the content again.

    If you want to start absolutly from the scratch, you can setup WordPress again, to be sure, that everything is fresh.
