How to: Deleting page revisions in the database to stop permalinks with -2 -3

  • Hi all,

    I want to use a permalink ending travel-blog but it auto corrects it to travel-blog-2 at the moment.

    After reading a couple of other threads it’s likely that I have to dip into the DB to delete page revisions that didn’t delete properly when I deleted a page through the WordPress interface.

    So now I need a quick guide of how to do this, I’m tech savvy but have no experience with deleting things in the DB. If there’s a plugin or another work around without going into the DB please also let me know that first.
