Hi. Is there any option to disable ads on attachment pages? I don’t want to disable all ads, just a couple of them. I’m using another Ad plugin for this site of mine, but don’t find it very effective.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Yes, it should be possible.

please enable remote debugging and disable caching for a while:

and I’ll try to suggest settings.

Which code blocks on this page should be disabled?

Can you please check remote debugging as it doesn’t seem enabled?

    I’ve done it.

No Ad Inserter debugging info is present on the page.

Are you sure Ad Inserter is inserting ads on this page?

    (@arshi01)

No. I’m not using Ad Inserter. I told you in the first message itself. I’m using some other ad plugin.

    Misunderstanding.

Then do one of the following:
    1. insert something with Ad Inserter on this page (any code) and make sure remote debugging is enabled
    2. submit a ticket and mention this thread

    Hi. You’re complicating things.
I’m just asking if there’s any setting in Ad Inserter to disable ads on attachment pages. There are hundreds of attachment pages and I cannot add codes manually.
Ad Inserter gives the option to disable or enable ads on category pages. I’m asking for the same for attachment pages.
If there is, let me know, and if there isn’t, let me know that too.

Yes there should be a possibility for this.
Use lists to limit insertions on those pages:
    https://adinserter.pro/documentation#lists

In your example black-listing taxonomies for attachment pages can be used.

I only wanted to help you to suggest settings. But for this I would need to check the page with debugging info.

    (@arshi01)

Nope. It’s not working. I’m using ad inserter right now and have enabled debugging.
I guess I’ll have to use two ad plugins

    Plugin Author Spacetime

    (@spacetime)

OK, now there is debugging info:

    PAGE TYPE: POST
    POST TYPE: attachment
    CATEGORIES:
    TAGS:
    TAXONOMIES:

So those pages are posts of attachment type and have no category, tag or taxonomy.

Currently there is no easy way to filter insertion on those pages without any category, tag or taxonomy.

But I’ll consider adding option for such cases.

Would it be possible to add some tag to those attachment posts?

    Thread Starter harley

    (@arshi01)

Thanks for your reply. Actually, there are too many attachment pages and adding tags to each of them will take a lot of time.

Thanks a lot for your effort, Igor. I really like Ad Inserter plugin. It’s a lot easier to set up than other plugins. My bad that I cannot disable it on attachment pages.
I’ll probably use it with the other Ad plugin.
    Thanks.

    You are welcome!

As I said, I will consider adding some elegant option for such pages – this is already on the todo list.
Will let you know when this is available.
