    Hello,

I’m just WordPress theme developer and I would like to add your plugin to recommended plugins of my new theme. Y’know after theme installation are installed also recommended plugins. But after installing Popup Maker, user is always redirected to your welcome page (here is a screenshot: https://imgur.com/jeGHiLc).

Is there a way how to disable that force redirect?

    Thank you.

    Kind regards

@dzerycz – I will look into it, it is because we use freemius. I / You can reach out to @freemius or @vovafeldman on twitter and they will get back to you as quickly as they would me.

First guess there is a way, but I prefer we find a way to only temporarily disable just that redirect and not Freemius itself, the stats we get are invaluable.

Thank you for your response. I’ve contact him ??

Yes I understand to you. I don’t want to forbid your welcome page, but I need at least to defer it.

I’ve found a solution. For others who might encounter with the same issue.
Just before plugin installation set option ‘fs_popup-maker_activated’ to ‘0’.

@dzerycz – Hmm, that may permanantly disable it though, IE not allow them to opt in, in the future.

Have you tested? Does it still prompt to opt in when clicking the Popup Maker menu? If not maybe set the option before plugin activation and in then delete it right after? I may be mistaken, that key may only be for the redirect, in any case glad you found a solution quickly.

Let me know what themes it will be bundled with and maybe we can find a way to cross promote each other.

Please take a moment to click that it Works and to rate and review the plugin or support.

    Hello,

This only disable the force showing of that welcome page. If customer click at “Popup maker” at the admin menu, so he will see this welcome page.

The name of the theme is GDay News. Our team is going to send it on themeforest very soon.

Yes, this is a great opportunity to help each other out ??
Do you have any suggestions about that?

    Kind regards

@dzerycz – On the spot, no, but I am sure we can come up with something. Do you have any special stuff you are doing to incorporate it more closely with the theme? IE is there a custom default popup theme, or if you included page builders you could include popups as an option for your buttons / links / ctas. In any of these cases I think we could do a Use Case and blast it out to our 6k newsletter members.

Submit a ticket at https://wppopupmaker.com/support and we can continue the conversation there.
